FISC Pearl Harbor

The purpose of this acquisition is to procure scheduled preventative maintenance service contract of a primary THAAD Caterpillar generator currently housed at Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kekaha, Kauai, HI. The particular generators are still under factory warranty in which the vendor MUST be a licensed Caterpillar dealer. The generators to be serviced are currently covered under a Preventive Maintenance contract which will expire shortly. This requisition is to cover continuation of the current agreement. Maintenance Inspections are to be done at each 250 hour interval for two (2) Caterpillar M/N 3516 Generators located at the THAAD Radar Hardstand and one (1) Caterpillar M/N D200P4 Generator located at the THAAD Blockhouse. Failure to adhere to proper maintenance intervals and procedures may result in diminished performance of the generator and/or accelerated wear of components. This is considered a risk mitigation measure necessary to insure the operation of critical components and increase overall mission assurance.
