Fast, Successful Implementation of Duck Creek Rating™ for Millers Mutual Group
BOLIVAR, Mo., July 22 /PRNewswire/ --Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of innovative software and services for the insurance industry, announced the completion of the first phase of an IT modernization project, which has enabled Millers Mutual Group agents and internal personnel to quote and submit policy data through an internet portal.
This first phase of the project provides self-service access for the following lines of business in multiple states: Commercial Package Policies along with Commercial Automobile, Commercial Property, General Liability, Inland Marine, and Workers Compensation.
"Our reasons for choosing Duck Creek were validated in the speed of the implementation and the ease of working with their staff," said Larry Fortin, CIO of Millers Mutual Group. "The modern architecture of the system allows us to leverage some of our existing proprietary programs while positioning us for additional growth. Most importantly, we wanted to be able to facilitate easier communication and a faster quoting process with our independent agents."
"We are pleased with the success of the first phase of this project," stated Steve Hall, Duck Creek's President and CEO. "The modern platform of Duck Creek software is perfectly suited to the goals of Millers Mutual; modernizing their IT infrastructure in order to better serve the needs of their agents and insureds."
