Energi Chooses NASDAQ Private Market for Equity Management Solutions

Proquest LLC

Energi reported its membership in the NASDAQ Private Market, the new capital market for private companies.

According to a media release, as an issuer member of NASDAQ Private Market, Energi gains access to the marketplace's leading platform to facilitate liquidity programs for the company's shareholders. In addition, Energi will take advantage of NASDAQ Private Market's integrated stock plan administration and capitalization table management solutions.

"The NASDAQ Private Market offers a flexible, dynamic platform that enables us to best bring liquidity to our shareholders, unlock value and support our continued growth as a private company," said Brian K. McCarthy, CEO of Energi. "This is a win-win solution that aligns perfectly with our longstanding commitment to bringing the most innovative solutions to our customer and broker network."

"Meeting the qualification requirements for joining the market is a testament to Energi's success," said Greg Brogger, President of NASDAQ Private Market. "NASDAQ Private Market is proud to partner with Energi and we look forward to supporting the company by facilitating its equity management and liquidity needs."

The market entrance was announced at Energi's Risk Management and Insurance Summit in San Antonio, Texas. With a focus on "Pioneering the North American Energy Industry," the 2014 conference brought together Energi's shareholders, policyholders, broker network and strategic partners to discuss key issues within the energy and insurance industries.
