Eleven North Mississippi Medical Center employees have been named to the organization’s All Star Team for 2011 [Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Tupelo]

Nov. 20--William B. Howard Jr. was included in the 2011 Memphis Magazine list of five-star wealth managers for the fourth consecutive year. A Pontotoc native, he is president of William Howard & Co.Financial Advisors, a fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firm. He has provided financial advice for 32 years.

Eleven North Mississippi Medical Center employees have been named to the organization's All Star Team for 2011.

The employees were recognized by NMMC's Stars On-Line program for outstanding performance throughout the year. NMMC launched the Stars On-Line program in 1999 to recognize employees who exhibit extraordinary care and concern for their patients, customers and co-workers.

The honorees include:

Heather Bowen of Guntown, clinical educator at Women's Hospital surgery and PACU. Bowen has been with NMMC since 2003.

Beth Buse of New Albany, a medical social worker at Home Health and Hospice. Buse has been with NMMC since 2003.

Cindy Cockell of Houston, with Home Health and Hospice. She joined NMMC in 1997.

Tina Bell Floyd of Plantersville, certified nursing assistant with Home Health and Hospice. Floyd has been with NMMC since 2004.

Carolyn Hood of Baldwyn, office coordinator with Home Health and Hospice. She joined NMMC in 1996.

Bessie Griffin of Eupora, admission/discharge specialist at Eupora Medical Clinic. Griffin has been with NMMC since 1993.

Eddie Moye of West Point, security manager at NMMC-West Point. He joined NMMC in 2000.

Paula Rumore of Eupora, office manager at Eupora Medical Clinic. Rumore joined NMMC in 2007.

Katherine Souter of Pontotoc, restorative care technician at NMMC-Pontotoc long-term care. She has been with NMMC since 2007.

Kimmy Vinson of Hamilton, Ala., physical therapy assistant at NMMC-Hamilton. Vinson joined NMMC in 2009.

Shirley Wood of Verona, medical social worker with Home Health and Hospice. She joined NMMC in 1987.Jon Paul Rhea has joined First American Insurance Services.

Rhea has been added to the Tupelo lending office as an agent with First American Insurance Services. He has a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. He comes to First American with seven years insurance sales experience and he is a member of the Mississippi Independent Agents Association.

John Oxford has been appointed 2011-12 communications council chairman for the Mississippi Bankers Association.

Oxford is vice president and director of external affairs for Renasant Bank, where he handles the company's western division marketing and corporate communications.

Oxford received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee and his Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University. He also received certified professional marketing professional designation from the ABA Marketing and Management School at Northwestern University.
