EQECAT Hosts Two Catastrophe Modeling Conferences to Promote Understanding of Uncertainty in Risk Modeling Process

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EQECAT, Inc. a catastrophe risk modeling firm, will host two conferences to help professionals in the U.S. and European re/insurance industry gain a deeper understanding of how uncertainty is managed throughout the catastrophe risk modeling process. The U.S. event will be held in Miami from March 30 to April 1, 2011 at Eden Roc Resort & Spa. The European conference will be held May 17 and 18, 2011 in London at America Square Conference Centre. EQECAT’s conferences are designed for re/insurance industry professionals, specifically C-level executives (including chief risk officers and chief underwriting officers) and catastrophe risk underwriters, managers, analysts, and technology staff.

Speakers will include experts from the scientific and re/insurance communities, who will discuss the latest developments in scientific research and industry trends.
