Denise Granlun Appointed CNA Business Development Leader

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Denise Granlun has been appointed Business Development Leader for CNA’s Philadelphia territory, effective November 8, 2010. In this role, Granlun will help support CNA’s goals to build a more effective organizational sales discipline and competency, and stronger engagement with its producers. She will be located in CNA’s Philadelphia branch and will also support operations in its Reading and Pittsburgh branches.

Granlun joins CNA with 25 years of property and casualty insurance marketing, underwriting and leadership experience. She began her career serving in sales and marketing roles for several major insurance carriers, and progressed into roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she held management positions for PMA Companies where she was responsible for the profitability performance for two of its Pennsylvania branches.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Management/Marketing from Ohio University, Granlun holds a Pennsylvania agent license and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
