Dave Faeth Promoted to Vice President of Great American Insurance Group

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Great American Insurance Group announced the promotion of Dave Faeth to Vice President.

Dave joined American Financial Group’s (AFG) Corporate Tax Department in 1985, soon after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University. During his tenure in Corporate Tax, Dave was responsible for tax-related filings for several of AFG’s large non-insurance subsidiaries. He had a lead role in relocating Great American Insurance Group’s annuity operations to Cincinnati in 1993, and held positions of increasing responsibility there, including Vice President of Policy Administration, which included oversight of the Annuity Accounting and Annuity Services Teams. Dave later held leadership positions within Great American Insurance Group’s annuity and supplemental insurance operations where he had primary responsibility for special projects in the areas of taxation, Sarbanes-Oxley reporting and merger and acquisition research. In 2007, Dave joined the Corporate Development group within Great American’s P&C operations where he led the Company’s work on Enterprise Risk Management planning and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Dave’s primary responsibilities include analysis of acquisition and divestiture business opportunities in the P&C insurance group and serving on the steering committees for Enterprise Risk Management and enterprise-wide Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Dave earned his Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the state of Ohio.
