DRE Veterinary Names New Division Director

DRE Veterinary, a premier veterinary equipment company and a division of DRE Medical Equipment, recently promoted Nathan Claypool to Veterinary Division Director.

As Division Director, Claypool oversees an experienced sales team that supplies veterinarians with new and refurbished veterinary surgical equipment including veterinary anesthesia machines, monitors, specialty veterinary tables, lights, medical gas systems, cauteries, and more. DRE also carries a full line of complementary accessories and supplies that are commonly used in the veterinary profession, making the company a one-stop source for veterinary equipment needs.

He takes over for Jim Evans, who now heads DRE’s Medical Specialties Division. In addition to several new product offerings for 2011, Claypool hopes to continue the double-digit growth the division enjoyed under Evans’ direction since 2005.

When Claypool started as a salesman for DRE Veterinary in 2006, he quickly found he loved working with veterinarians. “Besides being great doctors, they’re great people,” Claypool said. “People that love working with animals tend to have a big heart and are so often a real pleasure to work with.”

Claypool has consistently been a top performing capital equipment specialist in his 5 years at DRE. Prior to that, Claypool sold life and disability insurance for National Insurance Agency. He earned a degree in sales marketing and communications from Western Kentucky University. He and his wife, Meagan, own Rabbit in the Moon, a high-end children’s clothing boutique in The Summit Plaza in Louisville.
