County hires assistant manager

Hunt has worked as the communications manager at DSS for seven years and he has worked for the county for 21 years in total.
Hunt, 42, will fill the position once held by Denise Stingale. Stinagle was appointed

Stingale said Hunt's job description will be a little different than when she worked as the assistant manager.
"I want to focus on improving our public relations and communications and strengthening our strategic planning," said Stinagle. "Ron brings those skills to this position and I am excited to have him join our team."
Hunt will also work on risk management for the county, Stinagle said.
"Ron will work directly with the senior center and the aging programs that come under the county."
"He will be looking at our public relations and communications -- how we communicate to our employees and to our citizens," Stingale said.
Hunt will work on strategic planning for the county.
"He's got some good experience with that and will help us strengthen that as well," Stinagle said.
