This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. AG-8508-S-14-0017. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 337215 with a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small business. All interested companies are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ as soon as possible. Failure to register in SAM may result in a determination of ineligibility for award. All responses must be received by 4:30 P.M. Mountain Standard Time on May 26, 2014. CONTRACT: Purchase of 25 (10 gauge steel construction) Bear Proof trash receptacles. Delivery of all units to the 2 locations shall be FOB DESTINATION. Delivery Schedule: Off load of the units will be conducted by Forest Service personnel on location with Forest Service provided equipment/personnel.
