Colorado Health Benefit Exchange Signs Licensing Agreement with hCentive [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

hCentive, a provider of post-PPACA healthcare exchange technology, announced it signed a licensing agreement with the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange, a marketplace for Coloradans to compare and purchase health insurance plans beginning in October.

According to a release, COHBE is using hCentive's WebInsure State solution, which is the company's online marketplace solution for states. An Ancillary Products Module will offer dental and vision plans.

hCentive's WebInsure SHOP (Small Business Health Options Program) Exchange solution will also be implemented as part of the COHBE marketplace to enable Colorado small businesses and non-profit organizations to provide greater choice of health plans for employees.

In addition, portals for insurance brokers and carriers will be included. The WebInsure State Carrier Portal will allow insurers to connect to the COHBE to upload plan benefits and rates and manage this information.

The Broker Portal is a prospect/client management tool that allows brokers to work directly with customers to ensure they receive quality service and choose the best plan for their needs.
