Coles Car Insurance — Now with Roadside Assistance

Coles Car Insurance customers can now enjoy round-the-clock, nationwide motoring security, with the launch of Coles Roadside Assistance.

Coles Roadside Assistance is available to all Coles Car Insurance customers. It provides comprehensive roadside care at a competitive price, and unlike many competitor products, there is no joining fee.

Key features of Coles Roadside Assistance include:

   •      Breakdown towing and unlimited call outs
   •     Flat battery assistance
   •     Up to $500 grocery benefit if your groceries are spoiled while waiting for roadside assistance to arrive
   •     Flat or damaged tyre assistance
   •     Emergency fuel
   •     Assistance for car keys lost or locked in the car

Coles Finance Director Tony Buffin said the new roadside assistance product was a valuable addition to the Coles Car Insurance offer.

“We’ve been very pleased with the response to our car insurance launch, and we think the addition of Coles Roadside Assistance will make the offer even more compelling to both new and existing policyholders,” Mr Buffin said.

Coles Roadside Assistance is available from 1 March 2011, with cover costing just $79 annually or $75 if purchased online. Coles Roadside Assistance is available to all Coles Car Insurance policyholders. It cannot be purchased as a standalone product.

Coles Roadside Assistance is serviced by Mondial Assistance Australia. Mondial Assistance Australia services nearly one million Australian vehicles and attends to over 105,000 incidents each year.
