The book, now in its third edition and improved with up-to-date, cutting edge information and trends, has been a respected staple in libraries of aquatic professionals for nearly a quarter century. Authors Rachel and Tom Griffiths combine more than 50 years of professional swimming pool experience in the United States and abroad to educate on the newest swimming pool technologies and information to improve the safety and enjoyment of aquatic facilities. New information in this edition includes the Americans With Disabilities Act, expanded risk management chapters and in-depth discussions on water safety.

Geoffrey Peckham, CEO of Clarion Safety Systems, contributed to the book's water safety content.
