On Investing for iPad now available
Responding to an increasing consumer appetite for practical investment resources and guidance, Schwab is launching the On Investing magazine app for iPad, which brings the magazine to all users free of charge. On Investing is one of the largest circulation personal finance magazines but has been available only to Schwab clients until now. The magazine includes personal finance tips, commentary and case studies from Schwab and third party experts to help investors navigate the markets, develop investing strategies, understand current trends and developments, and plan for the future. Readers can search and access current and past issues, share articles and find direct links back to Schwab.com for more information on saving, investing and the markets. The new On Investing app for the iPad can also be downloaded now.
“Investors want access to tools and resources on their terms and don’t want to be tied to the limitations of their desk. Schwab’s new iPhone app and On Investing app for the iPad provide clients with access to their accounts and valuable information on the go,” Craig added.
Schwab is planning additional mobile enhancements in 2011; examples include the ability to transfer funds, pay bills and deposit checks, as well as an app for the Android. Currently, Schwab clients who don’t have an iPhone but want to access their Schwab brokerage accounts from other mobile devices can type www.schwab.com on their phone’s web browser to get Schwab’s fully featured investing experience optimized for mobile phones.
