A concierge medical clinic focused on internal medicine will open in Lutherville, MD, on October 14th. Carr Medical Specialties, led by Dr. Kevin L. Carr, will offer comprehensive personalized care in the field of internal medicine, providing services such as same or next day appointments, house and business calls, and emergency room visits. Additionally, cosmetics procedures will be available on a fee-for-service basis. Carr Medical Specialties is accepting new patients in advance of its opening.
The concierge model of medical practice differs from traditional co-pay based insurance plans. Instead, a concierge-based practice offers year-round access to a physician for an annual retainer fee.
Dr. Carr is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds certificates in Aesthetics (Cosmetic Procedures). He graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago and completed his residency at Yale University. He also graduated magna cum laude with High Honors from Howard University. A military veteran who served in the Gulf War, Dr. Carr lives in Lutherville with his wife and family.
