CRE Secure and PayLeap Announce Tokenization and New Security Features for their Integrated PCI Compliant, Payment Processing and Gateway Solutions
CRE Secure, the industry’s first cloud-based, outsourced, secure payment solution for online merchants and PayLeap, an integrator of credit card processing and gateway services for brick-and-mortar and e-commerce merchants, announce new payment security enhancements of tokenization, employee-based account privileges, fraud detection and risk management tools. This integrated payment solution allows merchants and other organizations that accept online credit card payments to further reduce the risks associated with security breaches and incidents of online credit card fraud.
“PCI compliance and securing cardholder data continues to be top-of-mind, whether you’re a consumer, retailer or enterprise that accepts payments by credit card. Fraudulent attacks on cardholder data continues to cost consumers and businesses millions of dollars each year, and the growing use of mobile devices provides hackers with new avenues for illegal behavior,” said
The new CRE Secure Hosted Payment Bridge™ and PayLeap 2.0 integration establishes a customizable PCI-compliant payment solution that provides merchants, developers and resellers with secure payment processing, gateway, account security, fraud detection and risk management services.
CRE Secure and PayLeap new, integrated security features include:
• Tokenization. Converts sensitive cardholder data to a symbolic representation, known as a token, during payment processing. The token is then used by the merchant to represent the cardholder data, taking the transaction out of scope for PCI compliance as the cardholder data never enters the merchant’s environment.
• Robust Account Security. Merchants can customize account access privileges by employee role, helping to eliminate insider security breaches.
• Fraud Detection Tools. Duplicate transaction detection and check verification safeguard transactions from common types of fraudulent activity.
• Risk Management Tools. Velocity management allows merchants to establish maximum transaction volume levels by payment type, product offering, amount and margin, instantly identifying transactions that fall outside these parameters.
“CRE Secure focuses on serving the security needs of any enterprise that accepts credit card payments in an online environment, namely retailers, e-commerce merchants, non-profits, subscription services, but you’ll also find that organizations with call centers that handle payments benefit from our security solutions,” said
CRE Secure’s service enables merchants to achieve full PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliance for the processing of online credit card payments. Organizations found to be in non-compliance and who experience a credit breach face stiff penalties from the major card brands, including fines, increased transaction fees and the freezing of merchant accounts.
The company will be showcasing
