CNA Hires New Underwriting Consulting Director [Professional Services Close – Up]

CNA, the National Program Underwriter for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Member Insurance Program, announced it has appointed Clyde Takahashi Underwriting Consulting Director for its accountants professional liability insurance program.
CNA is a writer of accountants professional liability insurance. With a focus on accountants E&O business, Takahashi will oversee CNA's clients in California and neighboring western states, and will collaborate closely with the .
"Clyde brings a profound understanding of the local marketplace," said Jeff Day, vice president - underwriting, CNA. "His professional relationships and breadth of experience will strengthen our ability to anticipate emerging needs and respond even more effectively to our customers in this region."
Based in San Francisco, Takahashi brings more than 25 years of experience and expertise in E&O underwriting to CNA. He began his career at CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company, where he spent 20 years underwriting the firm's program business, primarily in the Southern California and New York regions. Most recently, he was responsible for underwriting at Liberty International Underwriters with a focus on the top 100 U.S. accounting firms and a primary program underwritten by CAMICO Services Inc.
