CNA Announces Appointment of Three Additional Commercial Underwriting Officers
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Earlier this year, CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE: CNA) announced the appointment of Commercial Underwriting officers who will add local underwriting leadership and deep technical underwriting capabilities to its branch offices in order to strengthen relationships with producers. Today, the global business insurer announces the appointment of three additional Commercial Underwriting officers – totaling 13, to date - who will also ensure that the full complement of CNA’s products and services are presented to every account.
The following Commercial Underwriting officers are scheduled to begin their new roles this month:
Jamie Abercrombie – brings more than 27 years of underwriting experience to this role. Most recently, he served as vice president of Risk Management for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies’ Mid-Atlantic region. Abercrombie began his insurance career as an underwriting supervisor at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. He will be based in Philadelphia.
Tony Fenton – joins CNA from Allied Insurance, where he began his career as an underwriting intern. Over the past 12 years, Fenton has held underwriting positions of increasing responsibility; most recently serving as commercial underwriting director. He will be based in Denver.
Michael Shneibaum – brings 16 years of insurance experience to this new role. Most recently, he served as branch manager/senior underwriting manager for OneBeacon Insurance Company’s Southeast Branch. Shneibaum began his insurance career with Minet, Inc./AON Group, and has served in various positions at Selective Insurance and the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He will be based in Atlanta.
