CBG Financial Group Hires Branch Compliance Manager

BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CBG Financial Group, Inc. (CBG), a Boca Raton based financial services firm, recently introduced William Karvecky as the company's New York area Branch Compliance Manager.   

In this position, Karvecky will assist CBG's Chief Compliance Officer with the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the company's compliance programs and procedures, ensuring conformity with regulatory requirements.  Karvecky will be working from CBG's New York operation. 

Karvecky arrives at CBG from Wilmington Capital Securities, LLC where he was Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Insurance.  Prior to that Karvecky was Senior General Auditor for Guardian Life Insurance Company and Senior Compliance Officer of American Capital Partners, LLC.  From 2000 to 2005 Karvecky held the position of Compliance Examiner with National Association of Securities Dealers, (NASD) a.k.a. FINRA.

Karvecky received his bachelor's degree in finance from SUNY, Old Westbury, and his MBA from Long Island University.  He holds the FINRA- Series 7, 24, and 66 designations, as well as the NY Life and Health Insurance license.  He currently resides in St. James, NY with his wife.
