Co signed a 15-year contract with Osage Bio Products, an affiliate of Osage Bio Energy, for the purchase of carbon dioxide that is produced from Osage's barley-to-ethanol bio-processing operations in Hopewell, Va. Carbon dioxide is a by-product of ethanol fermentation. The carbon dioxide will be purified and liquefied to produce up to 450 tons per day from Praxair's new plant, scheduled for start up in the fourth quarter of 2011.

DTE DTE Energy subsidiary to build solar installation on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan roof in downtown Detroit (47.94 +0.27)

Co announced that its subsidiary signed a 20-year agreement that will provide BCBSM and the utility's customers with renewable energy generated from the sun. The 200-kilowatt, $1 million photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof of a BCBSM four-story structure in downtown Detroit. In the trial, subjects were randomized to receive either a single dose of LEVADEX or IV DHE (DHE 45) and then crossed over to the alternate treatment. Study drug administration was followed by 48 hours of serial blood sample collections, repeat ECGs, spirometry and vital sign assessments. The trial included healthy adult volunteers, 23 were smokers and 24 were non-smokers. LEVADEX was well-tolerated and no drug related serious adverse events were reported. "In addition, we are pleased to report that we have completed enrollment in our pharmacodynamic trial as we continue to make progress with our remaining clinical trials to support an NDA submission for LEVADEX in the first half of 2011."

Co reported that, during the month, ExpressJet revenue passenger miles (RPM) totaled 893 million, and available seat miles (ASM) flown were 1,073 million. ExpressJet's June load factor for Partner Flying was 83.3%. The company flew 68,565 block hours and operated 38,619 departures during the month as Continental Express and United Express. During June 2010, ExpressJet operated 206 aircraft as Continental Express and 32 aircraft as United Express.

DO announced that a subsidiary of the Co has agreed to suspend a Gulf of Mexico (GOM) contract and has entered into a new multi-well international commitment with a subsidiary of Murphy Exploration and Production Co that will result in the relocation of the dynamically positioned, deepwater drilling rig Ocean Confidence to the Republic of Congo. The rig departed the GOM over the weekend and is expected to arrive on location offshore Africa within ~60 days. The new international contract is a three-well commitment, plus an option for additional work, and includes an obligation for the customer to mobilize the rig to and from the Republic of Congo. The remaining one-year Gulf of Mexico commitment and new international commitment are expected to generate combined maximum total revenue of ~$234 mln.
