Berkadia Commercial Mortgage Achieves Superior Loss Severity Numbers

Report by Trepp highlights Berkadia as special servicer with lowest loss severity

HORSHAM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC (Berkadia) has been identified as the special servicer with the lowest loss severity level for the previous 14 months, according to a recent report issued by Trepp, LLC.

Trepp, a leading provider of CMBS and commercial mortgage information and analytics, reported in their March 10th issue of TreppWire, that Berkadia’s average loss severity on special servicing loans was 32 percent—nearly 10 percentage points better than the second-ranking special servicer in the report.
