Gradient Financial Group, LLC Wins Best Sales and Marketing Team Award

Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce Partners with Chambers across the Country to Select Award Recipients
Minneapolis, MN – March 16, 2011 – Gradient Financial Group, LLC (Gradient), a national financial services organization, announced today that it received the Best Sales and Marketing Team Award from the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented at the chamber’s Annual Gala & Excellence in Business Awards ceremony at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony on Friday, March 11, 2011.
According to the chamber, the award is presented to a business that has implemented a marketing event or campaign during the last eighteen months and successfully exceeded past performances or industry norms. To qualify for the award, a company must have two or more people working in its sales and marketing team. Twin Cities North partnered with chambers across the country to review nominees.
“Gradient Financial Group was one of 32 applicants for seven awards, judged by Chambers all across the country. Gradient won the Best Sales and Marketing Team Award because of its amazing growth and success over the past couple years,” explained Tim Roche, president and CEO of Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce.
Gradient has experienced 30 to 50 percent growth since its doors opened in 2005. It offers a diverse portfolio of financial products and services that includes insurance, investment advisory services, asset management, tax preparation, and mortgage banking to independent financial services professionals.
“Our goal is simple,” said Charles Lucius, chief executive officer of Gradient Financial Group. “We are primarily a back office for independent financial services professionals. We provide the products and services that allow them to better serve their clients and compete with the large brokerage firms and wire houses. They turn to us for business platforms and sales and marketing ideas.”
Gradient focuses on the growth of its advisors’ businesses and maintains that by helping others grow, it creates a loyal client base that generates referrals.
“We have built very close professional and personal relationships with our advisors that have allowed us to grow our revenue and profits,” said Tami Lucius, president of Gradient Financial Group.
Gradient moved to the Twin Cities North community in 2008 and recently joined the local chamber to further its local presence. Twin Cities North is also home to Fortune 500 companies like Medtronic and Land O’ Lakes.
“We have begun to shift our marketing to include the greater Twin Cities,” explained Charles Lucius. “We recognize our expertise also benefits our local community.”
