Behavioral Innovations Expands in Texas with First San Antonio Location

DALLAS, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Behavioral Innovations, the premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for families of children with autism and other developmental disorders, today announces the opening of its San Antonio location, which will begin offering services February 1. The company is in the process of expanding to Fort Worth and Wichita Falls where they will begin serving families in early spring.

"Opening Behavioral Innovations' doors in San Antonio will allow us to provide intense, hands-on therapy with Board Certified Behavior Analysts for families in need of treatment," said Billy Edwards, Director of Business Development at Behavioral Innovations. "And, many of these families can take advantage of our recently announced in-network relationships with several key insurance carriers."

Behavioral Innovations will take over the existing lease on the building where Treehouse Pediatric Center and Day Program was previously located, providing families with immediate therapy services. The company is working closely with Treehouse and its former staff to offer employment and ensure a seamless transition.

"We are here to support the San Antonio community and Treehouse families impacted by autism – we want to prevent any additional trauma and guarantee assistance," said Edwards. "We know the children and parents are comfortable with Treehouse and its therapists, which is why we chose the former clinic and school building for our new location."

The expansion announcement follows the company's recent news that it is the first ABA therapy center in Texas to join Aetna's network and first to partner with United Behavioral Health, providing in-network services. As of January 1, 2010, Behavioral Innovations started accepting insurance from Aetna covering payments associated with their In-home Treatment Program and SAIL After School Program. The company started accepting in-network insurance coverage from Aetna for children in their Center-Based Day Program in 2009. As of January 11, the company began accepting United Behavioral Health, to cover their Center-based Day Program and SAIL After School Program.

The company provides in-network coverage for military families through Tricare/Humana, which impacts the San Antonio community. Behavioral Innovations currently files claims for BCBS and Cigna and is working diligently with additional insurance companies to gain provider status and network coverage in the near future.

Having opened the first autism treatment center in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Behavioral Innovations has a successful business model and track record. The treatment center provides diversified and individualized autism therapy programs. The qualified professionals help children who have been diagnosed with Autism, Asperger's, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and many other developmental and behavioral disorders. Each program is tailored to meet every child's unique situation.

Behavioral Innovations offers complimentary screenings for children with behavioral or delay disorders as well as a tour of the facility for parents. Its North Texas Autism Treatment Center, located in Irving, is designed to provide a clinical setting where children receive superior therapy services.

For additional information about Behavioral Innovations and its insurance plans, contact Billy Edwards at [email protected]. Or to set up a complimentary admission screening email [email protected], call 469.374.0700 or 877.750.0ABA (0222). The San Antonio treatment center is located at 10515 Gulfdale Street, San Antonio, TX. 78216.
