Barney & Barney Names Michael La Fleur as Client Executive [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Barney & Barney, an independent insurance brokerage, announced that Michael La Fleur, who has more than 20 years of experience in business insurance and risk management, has been named Client Executive.

La Fleur will work with a team of Barney & Barney professionals offering commercial property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, workers compensation, compensation consulting, executive liability, personal lines and surety in San Diego, Orange County, Oakland and San Francisco.

"Michael La Fleur is a very successful risk management professional and a strong addition to the Barney & Barney team in the San Francisco-Bay Area," said Michael Mirsky, Principal and Managing Director. La Fleur is the latest Client Executive to join Barney & Barney's expanding team in the San Francisco-Bay Area. In 2012, the firm opened a San Francisco office and has hired four sales executives for its new location. Barney & Barney has had an office in Oakland for 80 years.

Before joining Barney & Barney, La Fleur was Vice President at Hays Companies for 4 years. Prior to that, he worked for Woodruff Sawyer for eight years and was Vice President.
