BRIEF: Verizon has 115 jobs available at El Paso open house

April 08--Verizon Wireless will provide information during an open house Tuesday on 115 retail store and call center jobs available in coming months in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Alamogordo, the company announced.

The retail jobs are in Verizon stores in El Paso and southern New Mexico.

The company is looking for people fluent in both Spanish and English for its El Paso call center, it reported.

The jobs offer health insurance, a 401(k) plan, which includes a company dollar match for employee contributions, tuition reimbursement, and bonuses, it reported.

Verizon now employs about 700 people in El Paso and southern New Mexico.

The open house is from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., today, at Verizon's new store in the Fountains at Farah center at Interstate 10 and Hawkins in East Central El Paso.
