Sept. 16--Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Garrett Fuquay of Danville, VA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Fuquay, to Daniel Sherer Gardner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sherer Gardner, Jr. of Asheville, NC.

The future bride is a graduate of Virginia Western. She is employed as a registered dental hygienist at Mark Hyman, DDS of Greensboro, NC.

The future groom is a graduate of University of North Carolina Greensboro. He serves as a commercial insurance broker for GreenPoint Insurance of High Point, NC.

A November 2012 wedding is planned at College Place United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC.
