BRIEF: BancTec’s document processing center will grow with move to West El Paso park

Jan. 29--BancTec, a document processing and data-entry services provider, will grow its business and workforce by moving its El Paso processing facility from Central El Paso to a larger building in the Ventanas Corporate Center in West El Paso, the Dallas company announced Tuesday.

The new facility is a hub for BancTec's growing health-care-related operations, including data entry for medical and dental claims and correspondence, the company reported in a news release.

The new facility, at 3821 Constitution, will allow the company to triple its El Paso work force, now at about 100 employees, the company reported. BancTec hired 32 new workers in 2013, and plans to hire at least 32 more workers this year, it reported.

The larger facility will allow the company to add health-care-related and insurance document work, Sherry Schmidt, BancTec's business operations director, said in a statement. More info: banctec.com
