Auto Lead-Supplier, InsuranceFiles Offers Tips on Closing Leads
| PR Web |
InsuranceFiles, an auto insurance lead generation company, offers the following tips to help close more leads.
First, start with quality auto insurance leads. If companies have provided you with overworked and bad leads, get rid of them. Work with companies that only provide you with quality exclusive or semi-exclusive leads.
Second, call the leads immediately; especially if it’s at the end of the day. Do not give your future customer the opportunity to buy insurance from someone else.
Third, follow up “no-answers” at least four times, and make contact via all available options. If you have the cell phone, sms and e-mail use them all. You not only have a better chance of reaching your future customer, but you may discover a pattern where they are more accessible at particular times of the day. When you reach them, ask them their preferred method of communication and the best time to reach them.
Use a different sales approach with leads generated from people applying online for a quote. These are warm sales; they are consumers actively in the market for auto insurance. It might be better to take a warm sales approach.
One approach for these leads that has proven highly successful is to assume the sale. Since the consumer has requested a quote, it is understandable for an agent to assume that the sale is closed and they are simply providing a service to the consumer by finding out their policy options.
