Annuity FYI Publishes Free Investor’s Guide to Annuity Lifetime Income Benefits

February 10, 2012 (New York, NY)

Annuity FYI, a free resource for comparing annuities, has released a free Investor’s Guide to Lifetime Income Benefits – an optional annuity rider that provides a guaranteed stream of income for life. Calling these benefits “one of the most viable nest egg protection tools on the market”, the publication helps consumers understand how lifetime income benefits work, what they cost, and how to select one that meets an investor’s particular needs. Interested consumers can sign up to receive the Investor’s Guide to Lifetime Income Benefits via email.

According to a recent study, 80 percent of American workers are expected to fall short of meeting all of their financial needs in retirement, resulting in a growing number of Americans being forced to delay retirement because they didn’t adequately save or plan for their retirement income needs. With an increase in life expectancy, many individuals are facing new financial challenges, and questions as to whether they will outlive their assets.

Annuity FYI is offering the Investor’s Guide to Lifetime Income Benefits to help consumers gain an understanding of these annuity riders and how they can provide financial security in retirement. “We pride ourselves on responding to the changing needs of investors,” says Annuity FYI Director of Marketing, Greg Shaughnessy. “Annuity FYI has maintained its position as an authority on annuity products by addressing investment concerns and offering tools to empower the consumer. The investor guides are popular because they provide an overview of a particular product and apply real life scenarios to help the reader decide whether it’s a good fit.” Annuity FYI also publishes free investor guides to secondary market annuities and fixed-indexed annuities.

The guide helps individuals learn how to protect themselves from longevity risk and financial market risk and explains why it has become increasingly important to allocate a portion of retirement savings to an insurance-based product. Readers will learn how to find and select a high quality lifetime income benefit from a top rated company.

The Annuity FYI Investor’s Guide provides facts and figures from reputable sources including AARP, The Employee Benefit Research Institute, and The Center for Retirement Research at Boston College, among others. Interested consumers can sign up to receive the guide via email. If requested, an Annuity FYI representative will follow up to address specific questions.

Annuity FYI is a free resource for learning about, comparing, and selecting the most competitive annuities. Annuity FYI was launched in November of 2000 and has since become the nation's most respected resource for educating investors on annuities. Annuity FYI has been featured in leading financial publications including Barron's and The Wall Street Journal. Annuity FYI's mission is to seek out the very best annuities and annuity riders among the thousands of products in the marketplace, and give investors the tools and information necessary to make an informed annuity purchase.

Annuity FYI also makes annuity affiliates available to individual investors toll-free to answer questions about annuities at 866-223-2121.
