Amy Berezein Appointed VP, Underwriting, Conventus

NIP Management Co., LLC, the Attorney-in-Fact for Conventus Inter-Insurance Exchange, is pleased to announce that Amy Berezein has joined the Conventus management team as Vice President of Underwriting. Conventus is the only 100% physician-owned and governed company offering medical professional liability insurance coverage for New Jersey physicians.

Amy brings over 25 years of underwriting experience in professional liability, commercial casualty and in the reinsurance field, including Platinum Underwriters, St. Paul Re, Transatlantic Reinsurance and a year on assignment in London. She was most recently Vice President of Ceded Reinsurance at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc, where she handled all aspects of reinsurance for a diversified global insurer with more than $2 billion in annual gross written premium. Amy has also worked with a number of the professionals currently on the Conventus reinsurance treaty. She leads a team of four underwriters and two associates whose customer orientation led Conventus to offer renewals to more than 99 percent of its members

After graduating with a B.A. in Foreign Language from Monmouth University, Amy completed courses at the College of Insurance, including reinsurance, casualty underwriting, law and accounting.
