American Medical Group Foundation Welcomes New Director of Development

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- The American Medical Group Association issued the following news:

The American Medical Group Foundation (AMGF) welcomes Jeanne Luschin, M.B.A., as its new Director of Development. In this position, she will direct fundraising and brand awareness strategy and cultivate high level relationships with leaders in the corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors. This position was created to enable the Foundation to support its heightened quality initiatives, including the Chronic Care Challenge, best practice collaboratives, and Acclaim Award, which support medical groups in achieving dramatically improved population health and care for patients at lower overall costs.

"We believe she is the perfect fit to enable the Foundation to continue its successful efforts to replicate our medical groups' proven, best practices to dramatically improve chronic disease outcomes across our nation."

Jeanne Luschin has more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector providing successful leadership in development, foundation management, fundraising, and strategy. She most recently served as Director at The National Blood Foundation (NBF), the charitable arm of the American Association of Blood Banks. In this position, she exceeded fundraising revenue goals by 55% over four years and increased major donors by 32%. She also raised NBF's visibility through a newly created branding program and cultivated and sustained relationships with major donors. Ms. Luschin has successfully led fundraising and brand awareness campaigns generating millions of dollars and establishing critical corporate partnerships at other prominent healthcare organizations, including the American Red Cross, Assisted Living Federation of America, and American Occupational Therapy Association.
