Allianz Life Hires Le Phan as Senior Counsel of Employment Law
Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz) named Le Phan as the new senior counsel of Employment Law. In this role, Phan will be responsible for providing legal services with respect to the company's employment related matters. She will also provide educational information to employees in all matters related to employment topics.
"Le's experience with employment law will be a great benefit to Allianz as we continue to enhance our reputation as one of the insurance industry's top employers," said Scott Bowman, vice president of Litigation and Regulatory at Allianz Life. "We look forward to utilizing her talents and are privileged to have her join the Allianz legal team."
Phan has practiced law in Minnesota for 13 years, most recently as a shareholder at the Minneapolis law firm of Felhaber Larson Fenlon & Vogt. During her career, she has worked on a variety of employment litigation matters including matters relating to breach of contract, discrimination, wrongful discharge, non-compete agreements and non-solicitation agreements. In addition to her litigation experience, Phan has advised and trained clients regarding a wide range of employment issues.
Phan earned her bachelor's degree from Hamline University and also has a juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. She was named a "Rising Star" of legal profession for five consecutive years ('05-'09) by Minnesota Law & Politics.
