Affinity Apparel Acquires DragonTech Manufacturing Company

FAIRBORN, Ohio, April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Affinity Apparel, a national direct sale uniform distributor to a broad range of industries, has announced the acquisition of DragonTech Manufacturing Company.  DragonTech is a leading supplier for work wear, image wear, and tactical wear.  Founded over 20 years ago and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, DragonTech is known for their innovative protective apparel for the electrical utilities, and oil and gas industries.

DragonTech is the second acquisition for Affinity Apparel, joining Riverside Manufacturing, which was acquired in September 2014.  The acquisitions have doubled the size of Affinity Apparel since the company joined the Resilience Capital Partners portfolio in January 2014.

Bassem Mansour, Co-CEO of Resilience Capital Partners, added "We invested in Affinity Apparel to serve as the foundation to build upon to create an industry leader in direct sale uniform apparel.  The DragonTech acquisition is a continuation of our growth strategy."
