ARS Humano Selects HealthEC®

PISCATAWAY, N.J., May 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthEC^®, a leading pioneer in population health management solutions, announced today that ARS Humano, a major provider of health plans and related services in the Dominican Republic, has chosen to implement HealthEC^®'s Care Coordinator solution.  The solution will support ARS Humano's more than one million members, as well as over 130 clinics, 125 laboratories, more than 100 pharmacies, and over 3,000 physicians.

HealthEC^®'s Care Coordinator will provide ARS Humano with complex case management, as well as disease management, including assessments, patient care plans, intervention scheduling, document uploading, patient education, and history on outreaches to their contacts.  ARS Humano came to HealthEC^® with a challenging goal.  They were seeking a solution that would allow them to integrate, from beginning to end, all of their different types of members, including chronic care patients and patients with other specific health risks, in order to optimize results and raise the quality of life for their covered population.  ARS Humano's primary objective was to find a solution that would allow them to fulfill their mission of raising the quality of life of their members by providing optimal health solutions.
