20 Under 40 Class of 2013 revealed

Jan. 29--Well, our 20 Under 40 judges have done it again -- with the help of a lot of folks who nominated candidates for the next class of up and coming young business professionals -- in picking an outstanding group of folks under the age of 40.

This year's class includes Kimberly Dagdag-Parker, Sheppard Air Force Base; Keri Goins, Patsy's House; Jennifer Tansey Briley, Wellington Banquet & Conference Center/Holiday Inn Express; Luke Oechsner, Oechsner Electric Inc.; Kolter Lukert, Guarantee Title; Michael Mills, Midwestern State University; Teea Reed, Union Square Federal Credit Union; Thorney Prince Taylor II, Kirby World Academy; Jennifer Inman-Cartwright, Mark Inman Insurance; Michael Stanford, Pratt & Whitney Component Repairs; Kristin Hoskins, United Supermarkets; Ann Arnold, KFDX-Channel 3; Cynthia Caldwell, Hallmark Realtor Group; Mark Casares, Postel Family Credit Union; Colby Huffman, CareTeam In-Home Services; Justin Brom, Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott LLP; Brian Blair, Charles Prothro Financial; Klint Ostermann, American National Bank; Lili DeLuna, Notre Dame Catholic School; and Johnny Combs, JPMorgan Chase Bank.

This year's finalists were selected from a pool of 47 nominees. Well, actually there were 48, but the 48th application was from a nominee in Brooklyn, N.Y., so this honor has reached outside of this area.

Needless to say, it was difficult to trim down the list to comprise this year's 20 Under 40 class. For our nominees not selected, you weren't far off the mark. Keep doing the great things you are doing and you, too, could become a 20 Under 40 alumni.

As we've done in year's past, the Times Record News hosted a banquet to honor our finalists on Jan. 28. The individuals who freely give back to our community deserve the recognition.

The judges were Dr. Howard Farrell, Henry Florsheim, Dorothy Roberts-Burns, Teresa Pontius Caves and Tony Fidelie. These folks did a stellar job of evaluating 47 nominees, all of which are vital to our community.

And we at the TRN tip our hats to Midwestern State University as the title sponsor, along with leadership sponsors Crossfit Texoma and First Bank, in supporting this important event started four years ago by the Times Record News.
