IFG’s Wholesale Insurance Group Appoints Barbara Rezner as New Chief Compliance Officer [Professional Services Close – Up]

International Financial Group ("IFG") has announced that Barbara Rezner has joined its Wholesale Insurance Group, IFGWSM, as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.
Rezner joins IFGWSM with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She will lead all aspects of compliance activity as IFGWSM continues its growth strategy dedicated to the Wholesalers producing both Excess and Surplus Lines and Admitted Insurance.
According to a release, Rezner's experience includes Counsel at the Connecticut Insurance Department over the past year; plus ten years as an adjunct professor at University of Connecticut School of Law, teaching Insurance Regulation; eighteen years with Hartford Financial Services Group, first as Assistant Vice President and Executive Product Design Counsel, then as Assistant Vice President and Assistant General Counsel leading the P & C Specialty Law Unit and then as the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Sales & Marketing and Commercial P & C operations. Barbara's experience also includes twelve years with Travelers Insurance in a variety of increasingly responsible legal and claim management positions.
