Villa joins Matthews & Hawkins firm
Matthews & Hawkins, P.A. recently announced the addition of Sarah L. Villa to the firm.
Villa is a member of the M&H litigation team and will focus on criminal defense, divorces and family issues.
Villa is a graduate of the Florida Coastal School of Law, and received her B.A. in human communications with an emphasis in business from Arizona State University in 2003. Since December of 2008, she has worked as an assistant public defender for Florida's First Judicial Circuit, where she represented clients in more than 2,000 cases and has sat first chair for numerous jury trials.
Like all members of the M&H team, Villa values community involvement. She has volunteered her time as an elementary school tutor and as a high school liaison for Arizona State University. Villa is an active member in the Junior League of the Emerald Coast, Destin chamber and is president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Okaloosa Walton Bar Association.
