U.S. RE licenses CATEX Pivot Point System, Continuing Expansion of Advanced Resources to Clients
Pearl River, N.Y., September 22, 2014 – U.S. RE has announced that it has licensed the CATEX Pivot Point Transaction System to be implemented within its US reinsurance brokerage operations. U.S. RE’s analytics and its related resources have been cited in several quarters as among the leading resources and client service suites in the reinsurance business.
The Pivot Point Reinsurance Transaction System, used by a select number of leading reinsurance brokers, is a web-based transaction system encompassing placement, contract negotiation, binding, billing, accounting, claims, MI and the Data Vera conversion and analytics application. Premiums, endorsements, claims and reinstatements can be netted in a single transaction to allow for quick premium and claims payments on the SaaS system. CATEX was again named Best Technology Provider by Intelligent Insurer magazine on September 14th at the annual reinsurance Rendezvous in Monte Carlo. CATEX earned the same designation in 2013. U.S. RE and CATEX expect full system deployment by the end of October.
