Zurich’s Risk Management Information Tool Gets User-Friendly Update

Targeted News Service (Press Releases)

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 14 -- Zurich Insurance, a property-casualty insurance company, issued the following news release:

Zurich Insurance has released an update of Zurich RiskIntelligence, its risk management information tool that gives customers the ability to create and view loss analysis reports, thereby helping them better understand the key drivers of their claims costs.

The newest version of the web-based customer risk information tool has been redesigned to give it a more visually appealing and contemporary look. Zurich RiskIntelligence is now also "tablet-ready" for users of various mobile devices, and works equally well with Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.

Most of the text-based links used in the prior Zurich RiskIntelligence format have been replaced with graphic icons and customizable "widgets" giving users greater freedom to decide what functions will be most frequently accessed. In one example of the new format's simplicity, users can simply hover cursors over each state on a U.S. map to view instantaneous pop-ups of claims and risk information for operations in that jurisdiction. The end result of these enhancements is a cleaner, less cluttered view making it easier for users to generate risk information that can help them spot trends affecting loss costs.

"Zurich RiskIntelligence is an essential tool for thousands of customers who want to efficiently mine, organize and analyze their loss data so they can formulate plans of action to address the cost drivers that could become drags on their profitability," said Jim Lynam, senior vice president of Customer Service for Zurich Global Corporate in North America. "This new version will make it easier for customers to produce customizable reports and access critical information that can help them reduce their total cost of risk."

To learn more about the fee-based Zurich RiskIntelligence tool, customers can contact their broker, call 1-877-263-0583 to speak with a Zurich Customer Information Services representative or email Zurich at [email protected].
