Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 27, 2016

The Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts (WWCMA) announces new members and position changes to the WWCMA Board of Directors. Mari Ryan and Kristie Howard will continue to lead the organization and preside as Board Co-Chairs while Valeria Tivnan will replace Ms. Howard as Vice-Chair. Martha Gagnon joins WWCMA as the Annual Conference Chair, and the Council welcomes Niraj Jetly and Karolina Starczk into Member-At-Large positions.

Kristie Howard, WWCMA Board Co-Chair

Kristie is a Principal in the Health and Benefits practice at Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments. Kristie manages relationships with corporate clients, leading the design and execution of their long-term benefits, wellness and health management strategies. Before joining Mercer in 2014, Kristie was a Vice President at Longfellow Benefits. She is a WWCMA founder and the former Board of Directors Vice Chair. In her new Council role, Kristie will lead WWCMA into the next phase of growth and support the board's initiatives to advance corporate worksite wellness in Massachusetts.

Valeria Tivnan, Martha Gagnon, Niraj Jetly, and Karolina Starczk are new members of the WWCMA Board of Directors.

Valeria Tivnan, WWCMA Vice Chair and Nominating Committee Chair

Valeria is the Director of Worksite Wellness for EBS Capstone, a market leader of employment benefit solutions. She advises clients on how to develop strategies to bring worksite wellness into their organization and transform employees into more knowledgeable health care consumers. With over 20 years of experience in the health wellness, disease prevention, and population health management industries, Valeria will help lead WWCMA and further drive value and innovation for our members. She will also chair the nominating committee to manage the recruitment of Board members and Council volunteers.

Martha Gagnon, WWCMA Annual Conference Chair

Martha currently serves as an Employee Benefits and Wellness Specialist for A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies responsible for creating and implementing evidence-based wellness programs through A.I.M. Works. Before joining A.I.M. Mutual, Martha was the Director of Worksite Health Initiatives for the American Cancer Society. She will lead the strategy and implementation of upcoming WWCMA Annual Conference at Gillette Stadium. The WWCMA Annual Conference, in its 5th year, hosts over 250 worksite wellness professionals, sponsors, and exhibitors.

Niraj Jetly, WWCMA Member-At-Large

Niraj is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at Nutrisavings, a pioneer in building the nation's first nutrition eco-system by connecting health plans, employers, supermarkets, food manufacturers, growers, farmers market, CSAs and corporate cafeterias. Niraj leads client strategy, member engagement, and product planning and the company's technology strategy. A highly recognized speaker and industry award winner, Niraj joins the WWCMA Board of Directors to help assist with the Council's awareness and growth.

Karolina Starczak, WWCMA Member-At-Large

Karolina is a seasoned healthcare and wellness professional that has designed and launched data-driven, award-winning programs to support employee wellness efforts and reduce healthcare spend. Over the past 11 years, her career evolved from the emergency services field to health technology startups to worksite wellness.
