Wall Street Veteran Joins Pier 88 Investment Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pier 88 Investment Partners, an independent boutique asset management firm is pleased to announce that Sean J. Aurigemma has joined the firm as Partner & Portfolio Manager.  In that role, he will serve alongside Frank Timons CEO and CIO for both the firm's flagship equity and convertible bond strategies. "I am excited to be reunited with Frank, an investment professional I have known for 20 years and have had the privilege of working alongside for over 5 years," commented Mr. Aurigemma.

Mr. Aurigemma joins Pier 88 Investment Partners from Lord Abbett where he was Lead Portfolio Manager for Large Cap Value and Value Equity Strategies with $5B in assets under management.  Sean has more than 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Lord Abbett, Mr. Aurigemma was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Lead Portfolio Manager for Morgan Stanley's Dividend Growth Portfolio in addition to its Financial Services Trust Portfolio. In his early years, Sean was a sell side equity analyst at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown and a corporate finance analyst at both Prudential Securities and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. Aurigemma earned a BA in History with High Honors from the University of Notre Dame.
