Varsity Healthcare Partners Appoints Ronald D. Geraty, MD as Operating Partner

Geraty, MD has joined the firm as an Operating Partner. Dr. Geraty will work with VHP’s investment team to oversee platform investments in the healthcare services and HCIT industries.

Dr. Geraty is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years of experience in various healthcare services sectors. He has served as CEO for numerous private-equity owned healthcare services companies including Alere, where he led the transformation and rapid growth of the company from a $1.2 million medical device manufacturer into a $500 million market leading comprehensive care management company. Dr. Geraty has also run companies in the disease management, specialty benefit management, physician practice management, behavioral and HCIT sectors.
