Vaccine Safety Advocates Gather in Washington D.C., Ask President Trump to Prioritize Vaccine Safety

On the eve of Autism Awareness Month, representatives from Organic Consumers Association, National Health Freedom Action, March Against Monsanto, The National Vaccine Information Center, World Mercury Project, Focus For Health Foundation, A Voice for Choice, Moms Across America, Freedom and Ethics Alliance and the Vaccine Injury Awareness League (and more) are gathering for an event called Revolution For Truth on Friday, March 31, 2017 in Washington, D.C. to call on President Trump to make vaccine safety a priority and convene an independent vaccine safety commission, create an independent agency for vaccine safety, and issue an executive order banning the use of the neurotoxin mercury from all vaccines.

The organizations are citing a multitude of failures, agency corruption and whistleblowers, and clear conflicts of interest within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, particularly the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Over $3.6 billion in federal compensation has already been paid out in awards to vaccine injured victims and their families by the U.S. Court of Federal Claims under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act that created the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (dubbed the Vaccine Court). Vaccine safety and choice advocates are asking President Trump to create a separate, independent agency to fully evaluate and monitor vaccine safety.

They are also asking him to immediately ban the use of mercury (thimerosal) from all U.S. vaccines and prescription drugs purchased by the federal government. In addition, they are asking legislators at all levels of government to recognize the mainstream media's failure to publicize the truth about various toxins entering the bodies of Americans through air, water, and food supplies as well as medicines like vaccines.

"Just as millions of consumers who freely chose to purchase organic items are justifiably demanding to know what's in their food, and defend their right to choose what's best for themselves and their families, parents, health practitioners, natural health advocates, and consumers want to know what toxins are laced into the scores of vaccines being injected into America's children and the general population daily," stated Ronnie Cummins, National Director of the Organic Consumers Association. "This is happening with little or no regard for the severe damage these vaccines are indeed causing--or the actual efficacy of an out-of-control vaccine regime that threatens not only public health, but our very constitutional rights and our full informed consent."

The Revolution for Truth event will begin on March 31 with participants meeting in front of the White House in Lafayette Square and at the Vaccine Court at 9:00 a.m., followed immediately by a peaceful protest outside the National Press Club.

Supporters will then march to the U.S. Capital for a rally adjacent to the National Press Club at 1:00 p.m., at an indoor location within the JW Marriott, 1331 Pennsylvania Ave., where environmental champion, investigator and attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and vaccine safety and informed consent activist Barbara Loe Fisher, co-founder and president of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), will headline a long list of physicians, scientists and vaccine safety advocates who will speak publicly through the afternoon complete schedule .
