“Unum Partners With Flock To Offer An Integrated HR & Benefits Platform”

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Unum and Flock today announced a partnership between the two companies that provides small to midsize businesses, and their health insurance brokers, access to Unum's plans on Flock's full suite of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Benefits Administration platform.

Flock's HRIS suite, which includes onboarding, document management, employee engagement, time-off tracking, and off-boarding is available for free to all Unum clients. Flock's Benefits Administration suite, which includes benefits administration, employee & manager self-service, ACA compliance, and broker portal are being offered at a nominal charge, and include integration with many Unum products and rate tables making benefits enrollment easier and simpler for employees.

The collaboration between the two companies will deliver solutions that ease the administrative and compliance burdens faced by small and midsize employers.

Brokers now have a modern technology tool to help them solve employer pain points and better fulfill their role as an employer's trusted advisor. Unum and Flock are collaborating to equip brokers with compliance tools that can be used by their clients. The Flock Benefits Administration suite includes a broker portal that allows brokers to assist employers with vital compliance requirements such as ACA filing. Under this agreement, employers who select the Benefits Administration tools will have access to Flock's ACA filing features included at no additional charge.
