UFG Insurance Launches ProSeries Insurance Products for Small Businesses
While UFG has long sold and serviced insurance protection to small businesses, the recent launch of the ArtisanPro® program for contractors, completed the company's goal of developing "out of the box" coverages created for specific industries. Along with GaragePro® insurance for garage operations and PremierPro® insurance for main street types of businesses, ProSeries® products all offer combined broad property, liability and crime protection with optional coverage enhancements.
"We saw a need for a more streamlined approach and faster turnaround time when quoting small business policies, yet we wanted to be sure we continued to offer agents our underwriting expertise throughout the process."
Harpole says this goal of offering top-notch service to agents even in a fast-paced program resulted in the development of dedicated Small Business Unit teams in each of the company's six regions.
"We know all small businesses are different, so having the three distinct programs helps us ensure the products are right for that businesses' industry," said Harpole. "We also know businesses can be different based on their state or region of the country. That's why we'll continue to use our underwriting expertise and regional decision-making to ensure our agents are able to present the best coverage options available to their small business customers."
All of the ProSeries products are available only through UFG independent agents, and are not available in all states. Insureds must meet eligibility requirements outlined for their particular region. For more information, small contractors and business owners are encouraged to contact an agent in their area: Find a UFG Agent.
