Those of Guatemalan descent (35.9% of Latino adults) and those of Salvadoran ethnicity (23.6%) are the most likely to be uninsured. Latina women are less likely to be uninsured than Latino men (15.9% versus 22.2%) and uninsured rates increase with age (until age 55, after which these rates decrease).
