U.S. Home Prices Soar On Limited Supply Of Homes And Apartments
-U.S. home prices surged a record high in June as buyers competed for a limited supply of available houses and apartments, the latest evidence that the housing market remains red-hot. Economy New home sales rose just 1% in July Associated Press. Prices are now at record highs in 19 of the 20 cities, with the exception of Chicago.
