Trustwave Database Security Solution Recognized By Leading Insurers for Reducing Cyber Risk

Organizations deploying Trustwave DbProtect may qualify for enhanced terms and conditions on cyber insurance policies from a wide variety of participating global insurers.

In a crowded cybersecurity market, it is difficult for enterprises to evaluate which solutions provide the greatest value. Cyber Catalyst is a first-of-its-kind program, giving organizations greater clarity and confidence in choosing cybersecurity solutions that can have a meaningful impact on cyber risk. In the program, leading cyber insurers evaluated and voted independently on solutions that are most effective in reducing risk.

Out of over 150 cybersecurity products and services evaluated, only 17 received the Cyber Catalyst designation. Trustwave DbProtect was chosen based on its ability to quickly identify and help remediate configuration errors, access control issues, unauthorized privilege escalation and missing patches as well as contend with advanced threats across diverse environments.

Product evaluation was based on six key criteria including the ability to reduce cyber risk, key performance indicators, client-use cases and successful implementation, efficiency and ease of use, broad application to the market and distinguishing features. Microsoft served as technical advisor to the program.
