Trump’s Pennsylvania Visit Will Be Private Town Hall

Oct. 09--President Donald Trump is scheduled to be in Harrisburg Wednesday for a private, ticketed, town-hall-style event, according to the chairman of the York County Republican Committee.

Alex Shorb said Monday morning that the exact time and location for the gathering have not been finalized, but he's heard Trump's visit will likely occur in the hangar of one of the city's airports with anywhere between 300 and 1,000 attendees, depending on available seating.

Shorb said he's also heard that Fox New commentator Sean Hannity will be interviewing Trump, primarily about his administration's proposed tax reform plan, during the event.

All details are still subject to change, Shorb noted.

Trump previously visited Harrisburg in April to celebrate his 100th day in office and a couple of other times while campaigning.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders had previously announced that Trump would be visiting Hamburg in Berks County, but press staffers later clarified that she meant Harrisburg.
