The PURE Group of Insurance Companies Promotes Two Field Operations Executives

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The PURE Group of Insurance Companies (the PURE Group), which includes Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), the policyholder-owned property and casualty insurer designed for high net worth individuals and families, has announced two key promotions: Mark Galante will now serve as President of Field Operations, reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Ross Buchmueller, and Lindsay Holden, who previously served as the Senior Vice President, Regional Executive for New England, will assume Galante's prior responsibilities serving as President, Eastern Zone and join the company's Executive Committee.

Galante has 20 years of experience in the property and casualty industry, mostly in the high net worth personal insurance niche. Since joining PURE in 2011, he has served as Chief Marketing Officer and President of the Northeast Zone. In his new role as President of Field Operations, he will oversee the execution of all strategies, with a focus on business development and underwriting. Before joining PURE, Galante held roles at The Hanover Insurance Group and the Chubb Group. He holds an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College.

Succeeding Galante, Holden will be responsible for PURE's business operations from Maine to Virginia. She joined PURE in 2010 and has been the leading force behind PURE's strong growth throughout the New England region. She has 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, with more than a decade focusing specifically on the high net worth personal lines segment. She joined PURE from AIG where she worked in the Lexington Insurance Company and AIG Private Client Group. She graduated from Western New England University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English.
